my name is Ellen

Tonight I went to the Pedigree site to donate money to their Adoption Drive. I read about Ellen, a sweet little Terrior mix who is being treated for heartworm and waiting to be adopted. After I cried, I sketched her. It was my attempt to honor her and all dogs.

Jennifer,
Your gentleness and sensitivity to life flows from your heart, through your pen, and out into the real world for all of us to enjoy...You touch so many of us with your talent. What a gift! Again...just lovely...sigh) :)

Your work really brings out the personaiities of the animals. And the colors really add to the life-likeness.

What a lovely portrait, Ellen does look like a real sweetie. I hope she is adopted soon too. Could your drawing of her be used as a fund raiser for the animal shelter? Might be a project.
