Cherry Blossoms

My creative consulting job takes me weekly to Potomac Maryland. Last week, after being away for three weeks, I arrived to all the glory of full blooming cherry blossom trees everywhere I turned. Quite a spectacular sight.

Yupo

Small Moleskine Watercolor Journal

Meanwhile back in Maine it is still a little brownish, grayish, greenish...

These are simply gorgeous! How did you paint them? dry or wet paper?

So lovely, Jennifer! I have two of the same kind of trees they have in DC, but mine bloom later for some reason (we're on Maryland's Eastern Shore).

Love the colours, and Im glad you added the type of paper you used in all three... I wanted to know about the middle one, and yupo has a neat effect and something I would like to give try on.

All three are beautiful and so spring like, lovely!!
