a walk to Norm's BBQ for dinner

Portland's Old Port has become my second home. I have enjoyed getting to know the city and all that it has to offer, especially when it comes to sketching opportunities. It is interesting and lively with many great restaurants. It is also noisy, has no parking and can reek havoc with my diet.

It is a beauty of a drawing. The first thing that came to mind was that old song..."Stop in the name of love...."

Great, Jennifer.
Are these two opposite pages in your sketchbook? Or to you put them together digitally, later?

Love these little glimpses of your life. Really lovely work.

Thanks for all your great comments.

Andrea—these two pages sit together in my little horizontal sketchbook. Ketchup at dinner came first and then stop sign from our walk home. I liked the two large red objects opposite one another. I hope I am not boring you with my little life here in Maine. (psst, tell me if I am!)
