Balancing act

I had to sketch fast to capture this one and then quickly splashed in color after they were long gone down the beach path. I could not believe this cute little dog was comfortably sitting on this 2' x 2' wooden platform attached to back of this guys bike. What a good dog—anjing bagus!

Beautifully done; I can almost feel the hot sun on my face. Very lively scene with gorgeous warm colours!

The light in this is fantastic! And the drawing is loose and free...perfect!

Cute! Near me there's a chap whose mini fox terrier rides in a milk crate on a motor scooter. (I think it's on my Flickr page)

Lovely subject. I can understand why you wanted to capture them, and you certainly did. It's an adorable vignette.

Oh, I'd have been a nervous wreck with that dog there! I love this, Jennifer. I see Charles Reid influence in this one, too! and that's a good thing, for sure.

Oh my gosh Jennifer, I just discovered your work on your blog and think your work is amazing! I love pen and ink combined with some watercolor and you have a wonderful quality to your ink line and use just the right amount of watercolor.
