View of Portland's Old Port

I'm still laying low with the same thing that has been ailing me for several days. Sketched while sitting on the couch, in front of the fire with mint tea and my dog. I had no energy to even decide what more to paint and the light was changing because the sun was going away. So off it went to the scanner. Oh boy, more snow...

Gorgeous painting. I love the way the shapes seem to pile up on one another ... also the way you haven't filled it all in.
Portland looks like a beautiful and historical place.

I am loving these most recent things you've done, Jennifer--I'm sorry you've been sick, but there's certainly no evidence of that in your art. Just wonderful!

Wonderful painting!
Hope you're feeling better. I think I have the same thing - it's called 'winter'.

Another nice view of the Old Port. You're taking good care of yourself- pup nearby, hot mint tea and a cozy fire. If I were coming to Portland I would deliver hot soup and some grainy bread.
Sweet Dreams~

Your work is loose but detailed. Colors are great. I like your pencil lines showing through with the watercolors.
