Every Day in May # 28

A very long travel day home from Arizona. It all started at 4:30 am in Phoenix and ended at 6:30 pm in Portland. I managed to sniff out a Starbucks in Salt Lake City for a quick iced Chai before the long flight to Boston.

Cool travel log. I like the cliffs, and the map's perspective. It's like looking at it on the table while sipping chai. Good work.

Hi Jennifer.....I found you through the EDM group, and I just love what you are doing. This map is one of my favorites of your sketches. Really great way to capture the memories from a long trip. Amazing that you manage these in a moving vehicle. I was also intrigued by your approach to oils. It is so similar to my friend Veronica Funk A link to her is in my blog), who is tackling a painting a day - you would most likely enjoy her style. Having just gotten into the sketching habit more frequently, I will keep an eye on your work as I find it really inspiring!
