Saturday morning and I was awakened very early by hungry cats jumping on the bed. We are having another "snow event" as they call them now. I did this quick sketch of Sophie sleeping on one of the coffee table chairs while drinking tea and watching the snow pile up. This is the first time I used watercolor in my little moleskine.

What really caught my eye was the interesting angle of your sketch. Excellent! Good for you for managing to refrain from whining about ANOTHER DUMP OF SNOW. Perhaps the sun is already shining and that is making it easier to handle.
I love your drawings and the stories behind them too! Particularly like the colours and patterns in the chair.
I love the ease of this. Wonderful. Just beginning to feel brave enough to work with watercolors. Do you do your pen outline and then the watercolors, or is it the other way around. My how to book rather skipped from pencil marks to washes.
