This morning, when Sophie and I took our early morning walk through the "hood", it was 5°. I came home and did quick sketches of some of our neighbors we ran into along the way.
I am definitely a scribbler (look close) with little patience to spend much time on one project. Most have to be done in one sitting, so these guys were done while drinking a chai and watching the morning news before the gym. After catching sight of them, I used photo reference to finish.

I like your neighbors, Jennifer!
i like your sketches, and i am amazed that you would call them quick...it would take me hours!
You drew those from your memory? They're amazing!

These are excellent for quick sketches! Beautiful work!
Great neighbours, great sketches.
Wow...wish I lived in your "hood." The only animals we see on our walks are other dogs...and crows.
Great shape memory and colors!! I wouldn't mind the wildlife, but I'm glad it's not so cold here.
These are just fab. I like the way your animals have a touch of humour about them.
Hilarious! It's like reading my own journal - I have a Sophie of my own, and a fox and a skunk for neighbors too! Great sketch
