More Olympic moments

Once again watching the Olympics, drawing with a pencil and a BIG eraser then correcting and coloring the next day. This is from Tuesday nights Women's Snowboard Cross. I guess this sketch is suppose to be Lindsey Jacobellis, but it is a combination of all the boarders.

Lots of interviews with the beautiful Lindsay Vonn. Pencil in small Moleskine watercolor journal. I was going to add watercolor but liked the pencil lines. Maybe later I will add color. What do you think?

Another pencil sketch of Lindsay Vonn adding color with colored pencils in Handbook journal.

These are just wonderful, Jennifer...we don't have a working television, and I do miss the Olympics! (Very little else, though, so it's OK.) (And I like the pencil Lindsay just as she is...)

I like your pencil sketch of Lindsay--perfect as is; she certainly is lovely.
I love the watercolor and will have to give your method a try ... eraser in hand!

Lydia, busted! I get a LOT more time to create with no TV time. We watch the occasional movie on the DVD player, that's it. I can get news on my computer!

Miss the Olympics, though--I'm enjoying seeing them through Jennifer's eyes!

These Olympic sketches are wonderful. The motion is intimidating to me, but I should try, anyway. You speak well with your brush.

You are really good at capturing the moment, or I'd better say, two moments: the olympic athletes motion and keeping your creativity going on while watching tv!

Wow, I am so impressed with your olympics sketches! Impressed and inspired. I might try something like this myself. Thank you for sharing.

Lindsay has had to deal with many obstacles, and it was great to see her triumph despite her lingering injuries

I love the lines on the 2nd one too. Maybe you could scan and print it on watercolor paper to add color. Great work!

These are all great! You've really captured all these folks. I, too, like the pencil version as it is--I'm sure if you do decide to color it, it'll be perfect, knowing you, but I love it now.
