I want to be alone...

With the sun streaming in, Jazzy managed a full body stretch between the back of the couch and the pillow. This cat has no idea she is going on an airplane this Saturday. She and my other cat are spending the day in carriers under our seats. They are going to spend two years with my sister in Arizona while I live overseas . Saturday is going to be a very long day for all of us.

Oh! What a huge event. I hope your pusscats are ok with the journey, and I'm sure they'll settle just fine into their new home. Whereabouts are you moving to??

Best of luck with your new life in Indonesia. I wish it was me. I am wondering where you are going to be living. If it is near Ubud, maybe we could catch up the next time I am there.

Good luck with the trip. I wish you and the cats well. Are you planning to continue blogging from there? I do hope so!

This is a wonderful cat portrait! It will be stressful for the sweeties to move, but the cool thing about animals are that they live in the moment. If they leave a loving home and have a soft landing, all that falls in between will be quickly forgotten.

I love all your cat paintings, Jennifer. I have three myself, but I don't try to paint them ... I should. (And with two of my cats aged 15, I empathize with your high vet bills!!)

This sketch just makes me want to get up and stretch!!!!!!!!!!!! I also love your other sketches and oils. I am just beginning a journey with oils (tomorrow I will put oil to canvas for the first time). I'm excited to hear where you are going to...I'll come back to visit!
