After heeling through the Eggemoggin Reach, we spent the night anchored at Coot and Camp islands.
I painted the sunset as we sat in the cockpit drinking "wine in a box", listening to Ben sing and planning where we might head the next day.
Sailing through the Deer Island Thorofare to North Haven.
Love these Jennifer, and really miss your Bali posts...
ReplyDeleteyour drawings and watercolors are so beautiful I love the juiciness!
ReplyDeleteJennifer, hello. Your drawings are wonderful. When I begun to make my little sketches I was deeply influenced by a great artist and friend who works with watercolor. But I was never able to reach the quality of his work, and this I see it in yours. To me they are magical. With very few ink and a sense of form, light and shadow you create a marvelous landscape. Living in such a place like yours must be easy to find nice subjects to paint. What kind of paper do you use? The ink seems to join it so perfectly! Hope you don´t mind, but you got an admiror! Congratulations and best wishes from Brazil!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful atmosphere painted here! :)
