Sophie and I ran into this dog "Busta Seaweed" on our walk the other day. What a great name! Sophie liked him because they could see eye to eye, but he was at least twice as long. For Sophie, it is not always easy being small.
Hey Jennifer, I haven't been doing the rounds much recently (as much as I'd like), coming here is always a treat. This is brilliant, as are all your previous posts. You're just too good, lady.
Inspired composition. I'm impressed. I grew up with a basset (briefly-- he ate anything he could including newly planted trees and wood trimming). My parents reflected on his apparent intelligence by naming him "Brick."
I am always attracted to unusual perspectives. Charming!
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! (I was raised by beagles but basset hounds finished my education.)
ReplyDeleteI love this composition - the fact that you cut the dog off in just the right way... A very beautiful painting.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting and great perspective. I can always count on you to show me something outside the box. Thanks!
