I bought a bag of cranberries with the good intention of making some kind of holiday cranberry thing. Of course, that never happened so I painted them.

Oh, love these, Jennifer! I've done exercises like these to test out different papers etc, and I love seeing the varieties of looks that emerge. Yours are jewels. I'm glad you didn't eat them, although I love cranberries!

I too love to see how different papers respond. I'm new at watercolor papers and I learn a lot by watching what people can do with them.

Cranberries are great just reduced down a little with lots of sugar, then used as a topping for cereal etc. But beware the 'wind' factor LOL!
hmmm...love cranberries! Came across a wonderful looking recipe for lemon cranberry muffins today. Delightful color!

i LOVE these - much more satisfying (especially for us) than anything that could have been consumed. they're exquisite jewels and you've given them beautiful settings.
