EDM #261—an olympic event


I was watching television last night trying to sketch the Men's Downhill for this challenge. These are small (done in a small Moleskine watercolor sketchbook). I used pencil to draw because I kept having to erase—THEY GO SO FAST!!! I added the USA uniform, color and corrected body positioning today.

    These are amazing! I think it's extremely difficult to draw moving objects, and down hill skiiers are indeed FAST. Well done! Very nice.

    Great drawings-paintings! I've dome Dancing with the stars, you end up with one persons top and anothers legs! They are super slow compared to the skiers! Maybe I'll try the snowboarders later. I love your blog, always leave here inspired!

    Jennifer these are absolutely amazing! All your on-the-spot sketching is certainally paying off! So much movement! and the flying snow is brilliant!
    I'm sorry for the overuse of the exclaimation point but felt that they were absolutely neccessary in this instance. LOL
