Every Day in May—EDM #23 and #24
EDM #23 Draw your foot. While dangling my feet over the pool to do this sketch, I realized that my feet have spent way too much time logging miles in my running shoes. One of the wonderful things about Bali is the $6 pedicure that comes with a reflexology foot massage. I'm going today!
EDM #24 Draw a piece of fruit. A fruit vendor at the local market here in Bali. All the fruit here is amazing, but mangos are the best. We cut them into bite size pieces and put them in the freezer. It is the best mango sorbet on the planet.

I've given up on my feet - like yours, running feet. I need those calluses. As for pretty it's relative. When I have a pedicure (not, alas, a $6 Bali version but a $25 Korean by way of Queens one) my tootsies look pretty in comparison to their appearance before I go.

Fantastic painting!! Love the nice bright colors, and creative way to put them on the pages. I am not sure about drawing feet. Not my favorite thing to do. Yours are great. Bali, how fun.

It seems you cannot do a bad drawing, in my opinion. I love everything you do. I have a question about the feet...is that a tatoo around your ankle? How neat that you've made those squiggly lines say EDM. If I had the guts to get a tatoo, that would definitely appeal to me!
