fast food/fast paint

I can honestly say I have never eaten McDonald's food. I have occasionally faked like I was going to eat there to use the restroom on a road trip or I would buy a water so I wouldn't feel guilty, but it's the truth...no Big Mac's...ever. Doing the "dreaded errands around town", I happened to drive past the local McDonald's and liked the design and colors of the yellow arches and the wires against the blue sky so I did a quick oil sketch on a piece of masonite.
Another painting for the dumb painting box.

Fabulous! I've eaten egg mcmuffins there back in college, and every once in a blue moon, I've gotten one of their cheeseburgers, but honestly, they taste like an old shoe. You're not missing much!! I'm not much of a fast food person, that's for sure.

I usually stay away from MacDonalds too, though this week one day I was home alone, no leftovers for lunch, and errands took me near Micky d's. So - I got a Big Mac. It wasn't very good at all, so much bread and tasteless meat. It's a relief, really, to find out I'm not missing anything by not eating there.

I've never eaten their food either. I take that back. I did have chicken nuggets with my grandsons, when those first came out. And I've had french fries, and hot chocolate, but I woudln't touch one of their hamburgers.
Love your work and comments! I thought that, if I didn't live in Texas, I might like the coast of Maine.
